| 14/6/2010 - Palomine presents...\"Attention Alpha\" |
Palomine traveled all the way to Rome for the making of their newest music video ("Never be the same"). More exactly: to the deeply religious Vatican City. This had nothing to do with the pope Benedict XVI. It had everything to do with the (barely 900) inhabitants of the Vatican. These people weren't really interested in taking part of the video message project “The World is Listening”. That's why the Palomine boys went to Italy themselves to fix the very last video message.
| 19/2/2010 - Sopha - Before we go bald |
SOPHA is a 7- to 13-strong collective from Antwerp combining funk, jazz and hip hop, creamed with a zest of salsa every now and then. Two swift masters of ceremony stupefy any audience with original melodies, breath-taking raps and often incredibly dry humor. Catchy drums, impetuous bass grooves and crunchy keys, together with funky guitar licks and a thunderous horn section, complete these world hits to-be. NEW ALBUM : BEFORE WE GO BALD

| 13/2/2010 - The Paranoiacs - Love Junks |
Valentine's Day usually sends hordes of young men in a frenzy to flower shops. Valentine's Day 2010 will be somewhat different. That day The Paranoiacs will launch their ultimate will and testament into a universe that is in need of rock & love more than ever. Exactly 25 years after their very first gig, Belgium's most unrelenting band (founded and still fronted by Hans Stevens and his infamous brother Rafke), will end their roller-coaster ride in the only fashion known to these tireless love junks: with a killer new record, a smashing live encore and, generally speaking, a blast. There’s little need to introduce The Paranoaics. Simply no other contemporary band has left its mark so prominently on the Belgian rock scene over the last 25 years. Love Junks is the band's lament for their unbridled love for women, but simultaneously for their respect and true devotion for their sonic masters who showed them the way throughout all those years in the rock 'n roll jungle. The Paranoiacs celebrate their 25th anniversary with the cd ‘LOVE JUNKS’! |
